Our client is one of the leading investment management firms in the UK managing over £120 billion in assets with clients in 31 countries and employing more than 700 people across the global network.

Objective

PRPi was asked to research the practices of Remuneration Committees in asset management in an extremely short timetable.

Solution

Our strategic input included:

• Advising on the most appropriate research methodology
• Identifying similar firms on behalf of our client
• Designing a questionnaire to cover the following issues:
• How much freedom do firms have to establish terms and conditions for employees
• What structure exists around approval processes
• What is the rationale for the structures in place 
• Have these structures been in place for some time, or have there been recent developments in RemCo structures

This involved:

• Compiling and distributing questionnaires
• Conducting interviews with each firm
• Writing a compelling and comprehensive report
