Our client is a major global asset manager managing over Euro 500 billion in assets that aims to offer its clients' best-in-class products, solutions and services across a wide range of asset classes and strategies.
Objective
PRPi was invited to advise the Chief Executive of a European owned UK asset management firm on an appropriate HR strategy which would enable the firm to attract, motivate and retain top quality investment talent.
Client's situation
Our client wanted to build its global competitiveness and presence in asset management and to review its HR strategy and compensation approach to facilitate the recruitment of top quality individuals.
Solution
Our consultants worked with the senior management team and existing HR team to identify key HR drivers to facilitate the required business transition.
Our strategic input included:
- writing and presenting a comprehensive HR strategy
- advising on salaries, benefits and bonus levels
- benchmarking all roles to up-to-date regional and international market data
- reviewing existing HR team resources and productivity
This involved:
- agreeing future compensation funding levels with the Board and gaining agreement to fundamental change
- being retained to implement key aspects over a 9-12 month period such as a performance management system.
